Will pressure washing damage my tiles?
It can, which is why an old roof does not get blasted. High pressure strips the surface off aged tiles and can force water under them. The method gets matched to the roof, and if a roof is too fragile to clean safely you will be told rather than sold a job.
Do you clear the gutters as well?
Yes, as part of the job. Moss cleared off a roof ends up in the gutter, so leaving them would just move the problem down a few feet.
